Which model to choose ?
The model of Digi Grey which you need depends on its use.
You have to think about the size that it will have on the reference photo. If it is too small, you will have difficulties measuring the grey and the white and black areas.
If you photograph industrial halls, stands of trade fair, showrooms, workbenches, vehicles, etc., the MEDIUM DG 102-1 model is well adapted.
If you photograph objects closely (details, statuettes, goods, documents), the MINI model DG 55-1 is sufficient. Of even if you use it in family usage or within your leisure activities, its conventional size (creditcard) will be convenient for you.
The PUNCH model was designed to emphasize portability. Provided with an adhesive foam, it can be stuck on a irregular surface as a lens cap. It can also be placed on other supports (old credit card, etc.)
Also say to yourselves that the Digi Grey is not an accessory which you will have to renew. Unlike the consumable products (batteries, ink cartridges), you buy it only once and you use it for very numerous years even if you change your camera. For some eurocents per month, you are sure to do beautiful photos during years! Its solidity is a security of duration: it can fall on the ground without breaking itself.
